Current Chamber Happenings

Below is the current status of our scheduled events. We will update with any changes as new information becomes available. Please refer to our MEMBER CALENDAR for the most up–to–date information on Chamber and member events.

Also be sure to follow and like our Facebook and Instagram pages to tap into our Buy Local #ShopGreaterManlius movement featuring different themes and member business categories every couple of months. We’re lucky to have three Main Streets in our community with the Villages of Fayetteville, Manlius and Minoa, as well as many retailers in between – and many other categories of businesses to serve all of our local needs. Our area has so much to offer and our campaigns highlight the positive impact that buying local and attracting visitors to our area has on our economy. Share our posts with your family, friends, and neighbors to help cultivate a local first mindset and encourage them to #ShopGreaterManlius! Together, we can create a sustainable community for us all.

To help support the #ShopGreaterManlius campaign, we’ve also created a new Facebook group, Shopping Local in Greater Manlius. As a business you will be able to share opportunities, promotions, specials. As a shopper, you can seek recommendations, ask where to find specific items, and explore the many businesses that are in our great community. Please invite your neighbors to join this new group!

Spring in Greater Manlius
April & May 2021
Greater Manlius Area Businesses

Spring in Greater Manlius – Support Local – #ShopGreaterManlius: We continue our spring season business promotions. Part of our efforts include highlighting our financial and accounting members. We are reaching out to these members for info, but businesses wishing to be included in these marketing highlights on social media channels, may also contact us directly with a picture, brief description of your business, and why you value doing business in the Greater Manlius area to greatermanlius@gmail.com.

Spring is also a time for our community to celebrate the rebirth of our natural landscape by focusing on sustainability and "green" operations, organizations, businesses, products, and services. Recognizing the efforts of Sustainable Manlius, the Town of Manlius’s environmental group, the Chamber would like to help highlight businesses and programs helping to achieve goals of sustainability and environmentally conscious development. We encourage any business or organization that would like to be included in our efforts to promote sustainability in the community to email greatermanlius@gmail.com with a description of your program or efforts and a photo for your business. To find out more about Sustainable Manlius, visit townofmanlius.org.

In related events, we are also co-sponsoring the Sustainable Manlius EarthFest with the Town of Manlius and other community partners. This is a series of webinars held every Thursday evening in April at 7pm. Click here to sign up. Get more event details on the Sustainable Manlius Facebook page.
